Helen Kang Morgan MD is Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Learning Health Sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School.  She directs the six specialty-specific Residency Preparation Courses (Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Procedures and Family Medicine) at the University of Michigan

Lauren Heidemann MD, MHPE is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) and the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. Dr. Heidemann created a 1-month Internal Medicine Residency Preparation Course (RPC) which has been implemented since 2017 and she is also the co-director for the specialty-specific RPCs at UMMS. These courses blend interactive didactics, hands-on simulation, and a novel simulated cross-cover paging curriculum. Dr. Heidemann's educational research interests include inpatient cross-cover medicine and the transition along the medical education continuum from medical school to residency.
